Booking Information

Here are our booking conditions, together with some useful information about your stay. Please contact us if you have a question or wish to make a booking.

• Weekly bookings run from Friday to Friday from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival until 10.00 am on the day of departure.
• Short breaks are usually available from November until Easter, excluding Christmas and New Year. They may also be offered in high season on a last minute basis. These are either three night weekend breaks from Friday to Monday or four night midweek breaks from Monday to Friday. Midweek short breaks are priced the same as weekend breaks and offer excellent value.
• All prices are in Pounds GB and are fully inclusive of electricity, full central heating, bed linen and towels. We provide one bath sheet and one hand towel per person. Please bring your own beach towels.
• A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the cost of the holiday is required at the time of booking. Reservations will not be treated as complete until the deposit has been received. The balance is payable eight weeks prior to the arrival date. If the booking is made within eight weeks of the arrival date, the rent must be paid in full at the time of booking. All payments shall be made by cheque.
• A damage deposit of £50.00 is required by cheque at the same time as payment of the balance. This will be held uncashed and returned after the holiday if no damage has been caused. If damage has been caused, the said deposit will be forfeited. If the cost of the damage exceeds £50.00, the renter will be liable to pay any balance remaining.
• All cheques should be made payable to Shirley Donkin.
• The full balance will be payable in the event of a cancellation unless we are able to re-let the property. Cancellations may be made by telephone, but must be confirmed in writing. We recommend that you obtain adequate cancellation insurance.
• A highchair and travel cot are available at no extra charge, but please bring your own cot linen.
• Re accessibility, the cottage has ramped access and is single storey throughout. The ensuite shower room is disabled friendly. If you have someone less able in your party, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
• Bookings will not be accepted from groups of single people under the age of 25 years.
• For insurance reasons, only those guests listed on the booking form may stay.
• For the comfort of all of our guests, the cottage and gardens are strictly non smoking.
• Registered assistance dogs apart, we do not allow pets.
• It is the guests' responsibility to take good care of the property and to leave it in the same clean and tidy condition as they found it.
• Any discrepancy in the inventory should be reported to the owners within 24 hours of arrival, failing which it will be deemed to be correct.
• Please bring slippers as outdoor shoes are not allowed in the bedrooms (thick cream carpets).
