We had the most enjoyable time at Hinderwell and we all considered the house and location fabulous. This is the sixth weekend away with our friends and we have been to some excellent places and stayed in some lovely cottages, but Ellerby View rates as the best. A few minutes walk to the spectacular sight of Runswick Bay and then an eight mile drive to Whitby, followed by a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors train made for a fun weekend. Thanks, it was great.

Can honestly say we would without doubt consider using Ellerby View again at some point in the future. We would highly recommend to anyone both the accomodation, which was first class, and the actual location, which served both the East Yorkshire Coast, Whitby, and the North Yorkshire Moors perfectly. We had a really, really enjoyable week's break and managed somehow to combine both rest and relaxation with a full program of visits to the nearby beauty spots and places of interest.

Just a quick note to let you know what a great holiday we had. The cottage was fantastic, a real home from home, it had everything we could have wanted, and more. The facilities really were first class. The beach at Runswick was great, and it couldn't have been closer. The kids had a great time down there and having ice-cream at the cafe was just how a seaside holiday should be. The location was perfect for exploring Whitby and the surrounding area, there is so much to see and do, although Flamingoland proved favourite with the kids! Thanks for your recommendation of Moutreys Restaurant. We took our daughter Ella there for her third birthday, the food and service were excellent, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks again, and we would have no hesitation in recommending Ellerby View to anybody looking to stay in the area.
